How To Make A Bead Bracelet With Stretch Magic
There are many different types of bead craft hobbies, some are simple to make and some get more complicated as you grow in your craft. Starting off with the basic jewelry items will let you grow in confidence as you start to make beautiful jewelry. It is not advisable to jump right in and attempt complicated, intricate designs as this can become frustrating and you may lose interest. Starting off learning how to make a button bracelet and bead bracelet will let you slowly become accustomed to all the tools and techniques. The tutorial below is designed to introduce you to beading and is a very simple project to complete. You can use any beads that you wish, however if you are new to this craft and go for something like handmade glass beads be very careful when working with them as they can easily break.

This bracelet project can be as simple or as elegant as your skill and imagination allows. If you want to make a beautiful gift, consider crystals and marcasite. If it’s for a child, consider pony beads.
When you’re ready…
What you need:
–> 1 Pack of Stretch Magic
–> Assortment of 6mm and 4mm beads (crystal, marcasite, bicones)
–> 2×2 Sterling Silver Crimp
–> Crimping pliers
–> Wire cutter
Instructions:
- Decide on the length of your slip-on bracelet.
- Add approximately four inches on both ends of your desired length.
- * Use the wire cutters to cut the Stretch Magic.
- Slide on all of your beads in the desired bead pattern.
- Slide on the crimp bead
- Center the crimp bead on your finger and pull the Stretch Magic tight to make it thinner inside of the crimp bead
- Slip the other end of the Stretch Magic through the crimp head in the opposite direction
- Pull both ends of the Stretch Magic so that there are no gaps between the beads
- Place the crimp into the inner jaw of the crimping pliers.
- Use the inner jaw of the crimping pliers to form the “”lip”” shape and close the crimp.
- Place the crimp into the outer jaw of the crimping pliers.
- Use the outer jaw of the crimping pliers to continue folding the “”lip”” shape in half. It will form an oval.
- Trim the Stretch Magic close to the crimp bead and your done!
Now you have a gorgeous bracelet that is original, easy to wear and a perfect gift.
